Q: Do I have to appear nude in photos?

A: No, it's not essential, though it does help of course!

Q: What format do my photos need to be?

A: You should send photos in JPEG format at 72dpi resolution. Please avoid sending massive files - photos should be no more than 1mb each, and preferably smaller. You should name the photos in the following way: yourname001, yourname002, etc.

Q: I don't have enough photos - what can I do?

A: If you are a UK based hopeful model but haven't had enough suitable shots taken, we can arrange shoots for you - though you'll have to come to us!

Q: What about video?

A: We are actively looking for video performers and we MAY be able to use your home-shot footage for Lurid Films projects. If you want to feature video on Lurid Girls, it will need to be hosted on a YouTube-style site. We can recommend adult video hosting sites if you don't know of any (the sites hosting files on our video pages are a good place to start).

Q: What forms of ID are acceptable?

A: If we ask for ID, we'll need two forms of ID, at least one of which includes your photograph and date of birth. They can be a scan or photocopy of your passport, photo drivers license or other officially issued photo ID, as well as birth cirtificate, national insurance card, NHS card, student card etc.

Q: Who has access to information about me?

A: No-one outside the two Lurid Films producers. Your information will be kept for legal reasons only (which means that, in theory. law enforcement officials may be able to examine it) but will not be kept electronically.

Q: How do I delete my profile/change photos?

A: If you change your mind about appearing on the site, just email us with your details and we will delete your page. If you want to delete or change individual photos, just email us with the photo reference (i.e. the title you gave to it).

Q: How rude can I be?

A: You can be as filthy as you wish as long as it remains within broadly accepted UK obscenity laws.

Q: What sort of imagery is unacceptable?

A: There are certain legal restrictions imposed upon us. We cannot accept images which feature: apparently non-consensual sexual violence (even if you are fully consenting) including torture, terrorism, knives, blood and the insertion of dangerous objects into bodily orifices; images that suggest the model is under 18 (school uniforms are a fine line and shots will be judged on their own merits); images which imply or show sex with animals or dead bodies, no matter how blatantly staged they may be.

Q: What payment do I receive?

A: At present, we are unable to offer payment except for our own photo and video shoots, though we hope this will change as the site expands. All models will get free membership of all Lurid Films / Harder Faster Productions sites, free entry to Lurid events and free Lurid goodies!
